My Philosophy
Colour makes me happy
We wear our stories in our faces and that is a beautiful thing. When we wear clothes that connect with the colours that are already in our skin, hair and eyes our appearance is harmonious and allows our inner beauty to shine through. The Colour Analysis process gives women the tools to confidently curate their wardrobes to suit their lifestyles and personalities.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
In your session, I use the science of visual perception to find the colours that look best on you. Following Albert Munsell’s Colour Theory, I analyse how your skin reacts to three specific elements: Hue (warmth vs coolness), Value (lightness vs darkness), and Chroma (brightness vs softness).
-
First, we’ll chat about what you hope to get out of your Personal Colour Analysis (PCA), and I’ll walk you through how the session works.
Step 1: The Draping Process
To get the most accurate results, I will cover your hair and clothing with neutral fabric. Then, I’ll place a series of specially calibrated coloured drapes under your chin. Together, we’ll observe how your skin reacts to different levels of:
Temperature (Warm vs Cool)
Depth (Light vs Dark)
Clarity (Bright vs Soft)
Step 2: Finding Your Season
By watching how these colours interact with your natural skin tone, we will narrow down the options until we find your specific Season out of the 12 possibilities.
Why this method?
Instead of guessing based on trends, this is an objective analysis. We aren't just looking for colours you like; we are looking for the colours that naturally align with your biology.
Step 3: Mastering Your Palette
Once we find your Season, the fun begins! We will:
Experiment with luxury drapes to visualize new outfit combinations.
Learn how to use your personal swatch book to shop for clothes and makeup with confidence.
Apply seasonal lip colours and blush so you can see the "glow" in real-time.

At my home in Greystones, Sheffield. The room is painted in neutral grey paint which eliminates any colour effects on your skin and I use LED lights to give us as much visual information as possible.
